Closer
Format mini vidéo numérique, durée 5 mn
« Closer » se situe dans le champ relationnel d’un voyeur (la caméra) et de deux filles (les sujets). C’est le voyage d’une caméra qui espionne les filles en les suivant et qui déplace progressivement le film d’un environnement commercial urbain vers une forêt.
Le déplacement spatial se retrouve dans une inversion des positions interne/externe entre les personnages, et différentes relations de pouvoir sont explorées en cours de route. Vers la fin le film se transforme en un lacis (ou labyrinthe) de regards et d’identités et l’effort pour se rapprocher de l’autre – presque jusqu’à le pénétrer – prend un tour surprenant.
Le film parle du désir (désir = aspiration) et explore la possibilité de pénétrer à l’intérieur d’une autre personne tout en se retournant sur soi-même. Le récit de « Closer » s’articule comme un mouvement circulaire du désir tout autour du noyau d’un secret.)

"Closer" exists in the relational field between a voyeur (the camera) and two girls(the subjects). This is a journey of the spying camera following the girls and slowly moving the film from a city-shopping environment into a forest.
The shift of locations is mirrored in the shift in insider-outsider positions
between the characters and different power relations are explored on the way. Towards the ending the film turn into a maze of gazes and identities and the pursuit to get closer to the other-almost inside of it- takes on an unexpected turn.
The film is about longing, exploring the possibility of getting inside of
another person looking back at yourself. The narrative of Closer is structured like a circular, shifting movement of desire around the core of a secret.
Project of Under

« Project of Under » est un portrait de Cécilie Rindom qui décrit sa tentative d’organiser une « qualité de passivité » à l’intérieur d’elle-même. Le film se sert des genres documentaire et fictionnel pour saisir l’effort de Cécile pour approcher l’Autre, représenté par les écureuils qu’elle rencontre dans les parcs avoisinants.
Sa méthode engendre une intimité puisée dans l’expression de la dévotion, moyen dont elle se sert pour transformer l’animal en phénomène intérieur ; la passivité de sa position fait de son projet-voyage un déplacement vers l’obscurité de l’intérieur tout comme le film se déplace vers l’extérieur en entrant dans le parc. La question posée est de savoir si la qualité de réceptivité traditionnellement perçue comme féminine peut engendrer du mouvement et de l’action.)

"Project of Under" is a portrait of Cecilie Rindom, that depicts her attempt to articulate a "passive quality" within herself. The film draws from the documentary and fictional genres in capturing Cecilie's effort to approach the Other, represented by the squirrels she encounters in local parks.
Her method engenders an intimacy found in devotional expression, whereby she makes the animal into an internal phenomenon; the passivity of her position makes her project-journey one that that goes equally inwards into the dark, just as it does outwards into the park. It asks whether the traditionally perceived quality of feminine receptivity can be a progenitor of motion and action.
